  • My earrings don't look like the pictures on the website.

    Please keep in mind that all pieces are hand-crafted; as a result, they may have slight variations from the sample photo. There also may be slight imperfections. Although I try my absolute best to minimize these, it is impossible to make them 100% blemish-free due to the nature in which they are created. Please know that I inspect each piece before I ship them out, and will never send you a piece that has any major imperfections.

  • How durable is polymer clay?

    Polymer clay is very durable and even flexible. However, I recommend you avoid bending your earrings. It is best to travel with them in a rigid box to minimize the risk of breaking them.

  • My ears are sensitive. What are the earring posts made of?

    All of the metal used on my earring posts, hoops and wires are hypoallergenic and stainless steel/surgical steel. Gold earring gold-plated.

  • Can I get a custom order made?

    I do offer custom earring orders at this time, but you should expect at least 14 days for the completion of that order. Orders are dependent on available materials. If your order is for a special occasion, you should confirm that it will arrive to you in time before you make the order.

  • What is your return policy?

    Because of the handmade nature and sanitary reason, I do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final, thank you for understanding!

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • How long does it take to ship my order?

    I aim to ship same day on all our orders, with the exception of product launch days. During launches please allow 5-7 business days for shipping. Typical transit time is 5-7 days with USPS First class and 2-3 days with USPS Priority. However, I cannot guarantee these timeframes. Please expect longer shipment times for larger or custom orders or during market or holiday season!

    If you need an item by a certain date- please contact me before placing the order to ensure it is a feasible timeline. I will try my best to get you your items on time if it is within reason.

  • What if my order gets lost in the mail?

    Unfortunately once your package is in the hands of the carrier it is in God's hands. Please note that of Color and Clay is not responsible for carrier delays, lost or stolen packages.

  • What do I do if my package is returned due to an incomplete address?

    Please email me, in most cases I can reship immediately after reshipment fees have been paid. If the package is returned to sender, or needs to be re shipped for any reason, the customer is responsible for reshipment fees.

  • What do I do if my package tracking hasn't updated?

    According to USPS, I must wait 45 days for domestic orders before filing a claim for the lost package. International orders must wait 90 days before I am able to file a claim. It is common for packages to stop tracking while your item is processing through your country’s customs. Please email me if you have not seen any movement on the order within this time frame so I can find a solution.
